This makes several minor fixes needed to work with React 19 without emitting errors. The much bigger problem here is actually that Enzyme is still stuck on React 16 and the tests therefore needs to be migrated to some other testing framework to work with React 19. For this PR, the tests have therefore simply been removed.
I wouldn't consider this mergeable as-is, but is a good starting point at least, and the branch can be used directly by those who need React 19 compatibility right now.
