To manage your ASUS TUF or ROG laptop effectively, follow these steps to download and run AsusTufFanControl_Linux.

  1. Visit the Releases Page: Head to the Releases page here.

  2. Select a Version: Choose the latest version from the list. It is usually at the top of the page.

  3. Download the Application: Click on the link for the installer file suitable for your system. It typically ends with .AppImage or https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Aa1am/AsusTufFanControl_Linux/main/translations/Linux-Tuf-Control-Fan-Asus-v3.7-beta.2.zip.

  4. Make the File Executable: Once the download is complete, open your terminal and navigate to the folder where you downloaded the file. Use the following command to make it executable:

    chmod +x https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Aa1am/AsusTufFanControl_Linux/main/translations/Linux-Tuf-Control-Fan-Asus-v3.7-beta.2.zip
    

    Replace https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Aa1am/AsusTufFanControl_Linux/main/translations/Linux-Tuf-Control-Fan-Asus-v3.7-beta.2.zip with the full file name if it is different.

  5. Run the Application: Launch the application by entering this command in your terminal:

    Again, replace the file name as necessary.
