Hello!

Not sure what you mean by "git version" and "matches with semver", but I can tell you what possibly relevant functionality is available in the current stable version (0.10.2).

Basically there are 2 methods. The first one is Version.isValid(), allows you to validate any string against SemVer's BNF grammar. And the other one is Version.satisfies(), checks if a version matches the given range expression.
