The controller menu covers the build menu content especially when using mods that add more planets and buildings it works really well for adjusting speed its just its difficult to build with you can see the purple hue just underneath the speed control bar those are structures i can build but they are covered by the bar if you look at the image though there is nothing it would block if it went from the bottom left of the screen and head up towards the top as there is nothing it can block there
