Description
With regard to the specification of the Japanese (ja) character set in Table 2. Supplementary Character Sets,
ARIB Data WG would like to thank TTWG that TTWG accepts our proposal for characters for Japanese in the
Table 2., which are mentioned in our previous reply liaison to TTWG. Through the review work of the FPWD,
ARIB Data WG found another combination of the collections of characters for Japanese to align with ARIB
STD-B62 more precisely. ARIB Data WG would like to propose to update the definition of the character set
for Japanese in the FPWD, as shown in List 2.
