nix store is liable to outgrow the boot ssd

We should probably put the nix store on the drives. It gets big under normal circumstances, and if we end up building ISOs/containers/whatever with nix (which we should; it would be cool) it could easily be a few hundred gigabytes. Automatic garbage collection should also be done if it's not already.
