Description
Is this a new report?
Yes
System Info
Void 6.12.79_1 x86_64 glibc
Package(s) Affected
freerdp-server-3.24.0_2
Does a report exist for this bug with the project's home (upstream) and/or another distro?
After updating from freerdp-server-2.11.7_2 (freerdp-shadow-cli) to freerdp-server-3.24.0_2 (freerdp-shadow-cli3) a previously working setup fails to accept RDP connections.
Regardless of startup mode (tested with "-auth" => no authentication at all, "-sec-nla" => Disable NLA protocol or providing a sam-file), the client (xfreerdp) just aborts with "Timeout waiting for activation", ERRCONNECT_CONNECT_CANCELLED.
There is no error message or failure hint on the server at all.
Expected behaviour
freerdp-shadow-cli3 -auth should accept and process RDP sessions without sam-file or password.
Actual behaviour
freerdp-shadow-cli3 -auth or freerdp-shadow-cli3 -sec-nla fail to handle session requests without any further information.
Steps to reproduce
- start desktop session, for example XFCE
- launch freerdp-shadow-cli -auth in terminal
- try to connect from another system with xfreerdp
