Message entry box sometimes overlaps with messages

I'm not able to reproduce this every time but sometimes the message entry box overlaps with the message text.

I can replicate it consistently by replying to a message.

Changing rooms reverts to proper layout.

Long comments that wrap a line in the text field also cause the layout to shift.
