"React" button not opening reaction chooser

On a message, when clicking the "react" button: nothing seems to happen.

I expected it to open a reaction chooser.

Thank you for opening the issue, the button is just a placeholder for now as it has not been implemented yet.

I was hoping there was an OS facility for this, but it seems there isn't. There's something sort of related in NSApp.orderFrontCharacterPalette(nil) but… that isn't really it (it opens, doesn't close until the user chooses, and is intended to "type" characters into the focused field.

Implementing this specifically for Mactrix seems like it might be a lot of work. Might be worth exploring an external library like MCEmojiPicker (I haven't used this; just linking it as a potential example).

It's really unfortunate that Apple doesn't expose the implementation they use in Messages.
