What could be the problem?

Nothing you can do atm, the Llama library needs to be updated to support Gemma 4.

All the updates for Gemma 4 on llama.cpp have been merged now for 2 weeks at least so this statement is not true.

Llama.cpp is not used directly, I have developed a library over it (LlamaLib) and need to update it there.
I do it whenever I can, it's a bit cumbersome because llama.cpp doesn't have a fixed API or code structure.

Let me know if I can help. I’ve used llama.cpp before and can maybe write a GitHub pipeline that auto updates LlamaLib. Any documentation is helpful.
