Can mergerFS work with exFAT & ext4?

I am having mergerfs with this kind of setup but I do face lot of file detection issues, does anyone faciing this?

I have tried nextCloud with mergerFS volume found - exfat + ext1

but I faced issues like missing of files etc, lost of files etc. ls stats were in accurate etc.
