There are a number of forks out there with many fixes,
many of them aren't customization and should be officially integrated.

Also many things have changed in these years :)

I know this issue was created a long time ago, but is there any update on this?

Is this the official bundle? Is there a newer more complete somewhere that we should be using instead?

@jish This is the 'official' bundle as much as it is the one installed from preferences in TextMate.

This bundle has definitely been neglected since really 2007 or so and does need someone to look at contributions that have been made elsewhere and merge them in or switch to another fork.

Generally this happens in one of two ways:

I set aside a few days to look over all the forks present and merge in the best of them and do some cleanup work to bring the styles into harmony, etc. This usually involves a lot of additions as well as holes are left with the merging of varying peoples work.

Or sometimes there is someone that does this and would be a good maintainer so we simply switch to installing directly from their fork. This happened earlier this year with the Go bundle as an abandoned bundle was taken over by a new maintainer.

I have looked into this bundle before to merge together the various changes, your fork @elia in particular has seen many mergers which could be a good starting point but it also has no descendants in common which makes merging things in a more complicated task, though still do-able.

I basically wanted to add an if <tab> snippet to this bundle, so should that be done against this repo?

I vote for pointing directly to @elia's branch:

This branch is 128 commits ahead, 7 commits behind textmate:master.

and/or, @infininight would you accept a pull request if I merged in all his changes? seems like he's got more time to maintain it though.
