Being able to set/get the container name like docker

Is there a way to be able to set/get names for docker containers run using TestContainers? So I can reference a container using its name instead of id.

hmm never thought about it. Not really a big issue is it? Can you elaborate on the use case a bit more?

Basically, running a keycloak instance and postgres instance and referencing the postgres instance to keycloak via name however I am sure there is another viable way. Just wanted to confirm, not a necessary feature but may be nice to have :)

This is not a big priority since the biggest usage of this library is in tests and when you create a container you get back an object that has an id. Or the id itself, been a while since i digged deep down into the code. But you are propably thinking about interactive shells?
