I am developing a web application called "Nur Library". It is a specialized search engine and educational platform designed to help users find and reflect on authentic Hadith based on specific topics (such as "Patience" or "Knowledge"). The application is built using React and Vite for the frontend, and Firebase to track trending search topics. This is a non-commercial, personal project focused on providing a clean, accessible interface for beneficial knowledge.
API rate limits:
Maximum requests per second: 2
Maximum requests per day: 1,000
Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
Programmatic API access is required. The core feature of my application is a real-time search interface where users can query data dynamically. Using an API allows me to practice professional "data-fetching" techniques, handle asynchronous states (loading/error) in React, and ensure the UI stays updated without needing to manage large local datasets.
What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
I am interested in acquiring data in Arabic (original text), English, and Bengali. This will allow the application to serve a wider audience and provide clear translations alongside the original text.
What programming language will your API client be in?
The client will be built using JavaScript (specifically within a React/Vite environment) using the modern fetch API or Axios.
