• Assalamualeykhum muslim brothers and sisters,
  my name is Khizir and my email address is hadith.atlas@gmail.com.

• Your purpose in using this API:

I am building a Hadith Collection app and would like to include as many Hadith translations as possible to make it easier for Muslims to understand. I saw on HadithHub.com, in the references, a link to your website and wanted to ask your permission to use your translations before I publish the app. The app will be completely free, without any ads, premium version, or subscriptions, InShaAllah. I will be very thankful if your give me permission to use your translations in my app and of course I will add a link to your website and social media accounts.

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?

• I already have db with hadith data from HadithHub.com, but they have some translations from you and for that reason i want to ask your permission before i use them, because using it without your permission is Haram.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?

I think they had all languages you have.

• What programming language will your API client be in?

Thank you for submitting your request. I'm just afraid your request might get stuck in the same backlog of requests that have been accumulating for years in this repository.

Therefore, we (unrelated to sunnah.com) have created and alternative api called sunnah.now. Where every brother can access hadith api completely for free without any (rate limit) restrictions, and it's also possible to download dumps for offline processsing.

Currently we have created an early access waitlist for the new hadith api, that you are more than welcome to join in sunnah.now.

During the early access you brother will be able to download offline dumps and make use of the api for free. This is exciting for our ummah I think, as this is the first free developer-first experience for our brothers like you.
