Kinectv2 / Kinect2 device is not found by OpenNI.

I am using Windows 10.

First I built this repo on the Kinect2 branch and tried to run the resulting NiViewer.exe. However, the opened command prompt stays black, without input.

Then I copied the Kinect2.dll and Kinect2.lib to the OpenNI2\Tools\OpenNI2\Drivers repo installed via the prebuilt Windows binaries. After clicking the NiViewer.exe in OpenNI2\Tools, it complains with openDevice failed: DeviceOpen using default: no devices found.

Later I additionally installed libfreekinect2 and copied the .dll and .pdb files (dependencies included) to both OpenNI2\Bin\x64-Release\OpenNI2\Drivers (built by me) and OpenNI2\Tools\OpenNI2\Drivers. The outcome of clicking NiViewer.exe both have not changed, however.

Any suggestions?

Not sure if it's a right fix, but I've replaced in Kinect2Driver::initialize:

// Wait some time to let the sensor initialize
Sleep(500);

with:
// Wait some time to let the sensor initialize
Sleep(5000);

And it works now.
