plugin-rest-cache with memory is not working on launch application

Hi, I'm trying to add the rest cache plugin in my project, but once I install the @strapi-community/plugin-rest-cache and ised it in the plugin.ts:

this error appears in the terminal:

Even though the documentation mention that the memory plugin comes with default witht he new plugin, I have tried to install also the @strapi-community/provider-rest-cache-memory bit it still showing the same error message.

¿Could you have any idea what is wrong?

The same problem occurs; it works fine in the local environment, but also reports the same error when deployed to AWS EC2.

@ferranpuigmar Try Update node version to v22, maybe work

I’m facing a similar issue - everything works locally, but once deployed to the Kubernetes environment, the plugin doesn’t function properly. It appears in the installed plugins list in the settings, yet the “purge cache” button isn’t displayed at the top. There are no errors in the console either.

These sounds like issues in package cache, though if the button isn't showing that's either you aren't rebuilding the admin or you don't have the config enabled for the admin integration.

Facing the same issue. Im on strapi 5 with "@strapi-community/plugin-rest-cache": "^5.0.0",.
Followed the guide and therefore minimal config.

• With node 20 I get: Error: Could not load REST Cache provider "memory". You may need to install a provider plugin "yarn add @strapi-community/provider-rest-cache-memory". (tried installing provider, doesnt work).
• With node 22 I get: TypeError: Keyv is not a constructor
