Provide source code for jh7110-recovery-20221205.bin

Hi, please accept my thanks for producing such a wonderful and feature rich board.

There are few misunderstandings on my side left as for a new user.
I'm experienced user of VisionFive 1 board, built, customized, modified and installed successfully it's firmware. I've been several times in need to recover it because my U-Boot was misconfigured, but I managed to get out of the situation using recovery.

There's jh7110-recovery-20221205.bin U-Boot recovery binary in this repo.
I searched all your repositories, but nowhere is a sign of source code for it. I suspect it's upgraded https://github.com/starfive-tech/bootloader_recovery, but that repo does not show activity going towards porting it to VisionFive 2 (no branches related to VF2).

Could you please provide source code for it, point where it can be found, or at least tell why it's not published already?

I resorted to make a rescue sdcard instead containing a copy of QSPI arranged on specially marked partitions, and flipping onboard switch.

It has been over 6 months since the original question. Maybe it is better to release source code in its current state than to have the community waiting ?

Or to release enough info about what the boot rom expects so that the community can write its own version?

@Woazboat as an aside, U-Boot v2024.07 (and newer) release is configured that when RGPIO0/RGPIO1 are configured for UART Serial boot then U-Boot SPL loads U-Boot Main via YMODEM transfer on UART serial, so the usual way to recover now is U-Boot itself as a recovery tool; first load U-Boot SPL to the JH7110 UART loader via XMODEM transfer, and then as U-Boot SPL executes it will expect YMODEM transfer of U-Boot Main.

Not to distract from the promise by @MichaelZhuxx to release source code of the official recovery tool SPL.

Unfortunately that presents a little bit of a chicken and egg problem. I'm currently tinkering with the Pine64 Pinetab-V and one of the issues is that the u-boot implementation that's provided for the board by starfive is stuck at v2021.10
