Bug: Block storage on instance continues to reach 0%, causing download issues.

• While investigating another out of disk space event (enhanced instance health in EBS), this health issue went away automatically. My assumption that out of disk space issues needing manual resolution is incorrect. Based on my recent experience, sometimes requires manual intervention, sometimes automatic. online research appears to confirm this.
• From what I can tell, we do not collect disk usage metrics
• Confirmed that fixes dealing with cleanup have been deployed
• Additionally, no 504/502 errors were reported
• EBS is 8GB, but only ~3GB available (other 5gb already used) -> downloads larger than 3gb will fail because we run out of disk space

This is happening frequently. EBS seems to have a self repair mechanism that is automatically cleaning itself up, but we need to investigate the true root cause of this issue.
