How to build codebase locally?

I have made a few modifications I'd like to try out locally. How exactly do I go about building my version?

Correct, @henrikvilhelmberglund--this is an iPlug2 project; Windows development is via Visual Studio, and Apple via XCode.

If you're not familiar with Visual Studio, you can look at its documentation for how to get set up with it. Same with XCode if this is your first time there.
If you're not familiar with iPlug2, the framework has some simple example plugins that you should be able to build and play with if you'd like before working with this one (or to consult specific parts like controls).

If there's anything about this specific project that's not clear after you've looked at those, then feel free to ask. Otherwise, I'll close this.
