Bluetooth not working on Windows

• OS: Windows 11
• Python version: 3.13.7
• NXT-Python version: latest
• Connection method: Bluetooth

Lately i wanted to use NXT-Python because my school has 10+ NXT bricks. I borrowed one from the school and tried to use NXT-Python via Bluetooth. It looks like it hasn't been implemented yet. Would it be possible to add Bluetooth support to Windows for NXT-Python?

I have no testers for Windows, but it might work if you are able to install PyBluez. This should be something like:

python3 -m pip install PyBluez

But I have no experience on Windows, so maybe you need to replace python3 with python, and maybe it does not work at all on Windows 11.

If you can help to make it work, it would be welcome. Any help on the setup procedure is also welcome.

Another option if you want to keep using Windows is to have a Linux on a raspberry pi or a computer for example which will relay the connection between the Windows machine and the NXT.
