Auto-generate register map from incoming master requests

Hello,

I would like to request a feature to automatically generate the Modbus register map based on incoming master polling requests.

For example, if a master reads or writes registers/coils that do not yet exist, OpenModSim could automatically create those addresses with default values. After that, the user could save the generated map/profile (including connection details) for future use.

This would help a lot when testing with third-party Modbus masters, discovering expected addresses, and quickly building reusable simulator profiles without manual setup.
WinModbus paid tool does this.

This would be a very useful feature for faster integration and simulation setup.

You can use 'Use Global Address Map' definition. Then you can use all registers.

Thanks, I will check it.
The simulator I use has an option to add needed registers and also includes a name field for adding a short comment/description, which was very helpful.
