500 Fatal Error: CSV export not possible

When trying to export the data as a CSV, I stumbled across the following error:

Fatal Error
A fatal error occured and your request could not be completed. Contact site admins with these details
Error [1] in vendor/phpoffice/phpspreadsheet/src/PhpSpreadsheet/Collection/Cells.php line 395

One specic about the survey data I wanted to export is that the result table includes a very large number of (empty) rows, with over thousand result pages in the formr overview. Also, I found out that it is still possible to export files in json-format.

Any advice is welcome!
