Invalid access error with Circom Version 2

I tried to follow the tutorial and "1_simple_arithmetic" works completely fine with circom version 2. However, when I tried the Merkle root and Eddas examples, I got the "invalid access" error on a component imported from another circom file. Wondering if anyone had the experience of resolving this invalid access issue? Thanks :)
