Listener getting called continously

Using the below code. the event is being logged continuously on a real device (iPhone XS - iOS 14.2).

Below is my code that is getting called in componentDidMount()

this.audioJackListener = AudioJackManager.addListener(({ isPluggedIn }) => {
      console.log('isPluggedIn', isPluggedIn);
    });
