Language translation volunteers

Binner now has support for alternate languages other than english.

We need your help - if you are fluent in other languages and willing to contribute a small amount of time we would love your assistance.

Translations can be performed by downloading locales/en/translations.json and converting each string definition to your language. Submissions can be done via Pull Request or by posting the file as a New Issue

Mike please explain what you mean by the phrase "... is the lowest on inventory". Maybe that "you have the least amount of parts to produce this PCB"? or that "this PCB uses fewer parts than the others"? or what else?

It refers to low stock, so it means that you are running low on that part. On the Inventory page, there is a value called Low Stock so when your inventory quantity of that part goes below that level it will be considered low stock and will appear on the Low Stock inventory page

So if I produce that PCB I run out of stock of one of its parts, correct?

Correct. Each PCB you produce, your inventory will be reduced by however quantity you specify is needed in the BOM.

This will happen both for parts that are assigned to a PCB, as well as parts not associate to a specific PCB.

I started with the german translation.
I am running Binner 2.4.1. Could you tell me how to choose "german" in the dropdown if its not implemented for now?
I just want to do some tests before I release it.

I don’t think it’s possible on your end unless you are building Binner from source. I should make this configurable so that would be possible. But I can run a custom build for you with German enabled and send it to you.
