Remove range hinges without changing width

(This issue needs confirmation)

currently you can remove hinges from the range layer using the width setting. However, this badly interacts with dodging so you can currently not have an unhinged (sic) dodges range plot (e.g. for errorbars on a dodged bar plot)

I tried this for reproduction but couldn't get the dodging to work in the first place

I also think we should decouple width from hinge size somehow

I think hinge => null/0/5 could work too, at least it decouples from a physical dimension.
