[Bug]: CODEX_HOME path override is ignored in some parts of the app #1158

Steps to reproduce
codex logout
CODEX_HOME=~/.codex-work codex login
Then open the t3Code and set the HOME directory:
Expected behavior
Expected that it would not use my personal codex credentials when the CODEX_HOME override is set.
Actual behavior
Result:
It says "Codex CLI is not authenticated. Run codex login and try again."
