Deprecated -i -c in gpsbabel

I note in the changelogs for gpsbabel that they no longer utilize -i and -c flags... However, on load, it appears python-gpsbabel calls -i to load up available charsets. I have temporarily fixed this on my install by removing that call (and feeding the program an empty file) but wanted to pass this info along.
