No Support for Vercel Edge

I saw this issue:

As I am getting this error when I deploy to Vercel Edge:

Key for the RS256 algorithm must be one of type CryptoKey, KeyObject, or JSON Web Key. 
Received an instance of CryptoKey

While there are many places where Vercel has a preference for NodeJS Runtime over Edge Runtime, it is NOT going away.

I'm just wondering if this package could make whatever small fix to make it compatible, particularly for RSA?

jsrsasign, for example, has no problems working on the Edge.

What you're seeing is an issue present on CF Workers, which is what Vercel Edge actual uses (or used at some point in time). This is the issue, a bug on the CF platform that has been since long fixed, and users opt-in to the fix by setting a recent compatibility date.

It is not an issue that presents itself on https://github.com/vercel/edge-runtime since that is just wrapping Node.js

Could you provide more details about the actual runtime configuration / state.

Man, thanks for the quick fix! It works! I'm creating a firebase edge library, just wanted to make sure it works on all platforms. I know they are adding Bun, so that will be good.

Have you heard they are actually getting rid of it completely, or just putting it in maintenance mode?
