does not open any window

I've just installed this from AUR and then again from source. In both cases when I start the program (from command-line or from start menu) nothing seems to happen: no output to the terminal, no window opening,... I'm on KDE Plasma 6.

I just found that it does create an entry in the panel and then when I click on that it maps the window...
