Permission Error When Not Super User

Hi, so when I ran the code originally I got around this by becoming a superuser each time - but is there a way to prevent the need for this?

I see you wrote a permission file in the set up, which I've got - but it doesn't seem to be working as I get a permission error in python when trying to run the line: arm = usb_arm.Arm().

Ok so I fixed it:

Just had to modify the file to:

SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="1267", ATTR{idProduct}=="0001", MODE:="0666"|

Change in bold

I guess the device ID can vary, I figured it out using the command: lsusb in the terminal to find the correct information to go in the file.

Are you running on a Pi? Or other linux OS? I have an open PR I am working on to fix the setup and installation. I've merged the PR you've made, but I'll try to account for it in #22

Ok that's great, thanks; I was using the official Pi OS Bookworm for Pi 4B when I had the permission error issue. But I think it's just because my Robotic Arm has a different idProduct for some reason? As the permission file was there, after I ran your git curl code for setting up on R-Pi, but I just had to modify the idProduct code.
