No guarantees, as I haven't tested this: You can try using Timeshift by saving the data to another USB drive (preferably one with a larger capacity). In the Timeshift backup settings, also uncheck the home folder and the ‘/root’ folder. Next, perform an installation to the hard drive. Once the installation is complete and you have rebooted from the hard drive, use Timeshift to restore the data from the USB drive where it was saved. You may need to repair the /boot partition using boot-repair. Also, remove a few packages that are only useful when booting from a USB drive (though I don’t have a list of them). Good luck! |

I've been running Mint Cin on a flash drive for a few weeks, and don't want to lose how I currently have it setup, is it possible to clone it over to a physical HD ??
