Using serena within a git worktree structure

I use a git worktree structure - with a bare repo and worktree directories underneath.

I have .serena in the top-level bare repo with memories that apply to the entire project.

However, if I work within a worktree directory, serena seems to activate that as a new project and ignores the top level memories.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is this workflow supported?

I seem to be experiencing the same thing too. It looks like the subagent called in every git worktree will rerun activate once, but this doesn't seem to be a problem either, since it doesn't cost any tokens anyway.
