Create Workshop for CI/CD

One thing that seems to come up often is individuals lack of understanding around CI and CD. Would love to build a lab that leverages open source tooling for CI and CD to allow participants to get a firmer understanding of CI/CD best practices.

Tooling options:

• Kraken
• Concourse
• Jenkins 🤮

Honestly I'm 100% OK with Jenkins because people will run into it all over the place, and at the end of the day it's still the most flexible tool you can find. OSC has a lot of code for Concourse floating around, which I got rid of because it's too opinionated/limited by the fact that it can only run in containers.

Agree that Jenkins is still pretty entrenched. My only issue with Jenkins is a lot of other platforms are moving towards yaml based pipeline definitions and unless I missed an update, Jenkinsfiles still use Groovy, so part of me wants to focus on a platform that leverages yaml so it's more transferable to SaaS platforms like GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, CodePipeline, Google's thing, and ADO. We can dig into tooling options in more depth.

Also I'm kind of thinking container based might be the easiest option anyways if we want to follow the "deploy a single VM per team" type approach, so you can have your manager and agents all running on the same instance.
