Kill the collapsed state of the left sidebar

User Story

• As a user I find it quite confusing to understand when the left sidebar is expanded or collapsed.

User Value

ease of use, layout jumpiness

Acceptance Criteria

• remove the toggle button in the left sidebar
• don't collapse the left sidebar at all, ever. we always want the left sidebar expanded.
• on small tablets in portrait orientation the expanded left sidebar with an opened right sidebar takes too much space. If needed, open the right sidebar in a bottom drawer earlier (= on bigger resolutions than now) or make the right sidebar smaller.

I just discovered this change after upgrading my deployment. I know, this comes too late, but better to give feedback now that never I guess.

I really dislike this change. I preferred to use the navbar in it's collapsed state most of the time.
