Describe the bug
oc-7.0.0-rc.0 started at hetzner cloud via docker compose according to https://docs.opencloud.eu/docs/admin/getting-started/container/docker-compose/docker-compose-base/
Browser: Firefox 140.9.0esr openSUSE 15.6
Log in to the Web UI, Upload a folder with 600 small text files.
Click on the three dots of the folder, choose "Create space from selection"
This process takes long.
After a few minutes, the network goes away (e.g. reproduced by setting the laptop into Airplane mode).
Ca 1h later, there is a message in the browser "Creating Space failed"
The new space is there, but contains only 314 files are present. BAD.
Similar behaviour, when the user closes the browser tab. A message about unsaved information appears. This does not give a hint about interrupting a space creation.
This time I was quicker, the space was created with only 96 Files.
In any case, users visiting the space cannot tell that it is incomplete.
Expected behaviour
- creating a space should be a server side operation, no browser needed.
- When creating a space fails, the space should not exist at all.
