Feature Request: Ability to disable conflict checking or allow the user to choose the version

I use Claude Code in Cherry Studio and CodePilot; I prefer not to uninstall it.

It would be better to disable this check and allow the application to use its own version or give users the option to select which one to use. Thank you.

@op7418 Plus, The download hyperlink for the "Windows installer" in each release results in a 404 error.
