I am looking for a way to version my pythonista projects with github that lets me stay in pythonista, or at least on the ipad. I have searched the pythonista docs and come up dry. Suggetions? |

I am using Working Copy on my iPad. I keep the local repositories in "Files > On My iPad/Pythonista 3/...". That way Pythonista has automatically read/write permissions to the files in the repository. Here is a link to a previous discussion whith more details: It should also be possible to integrate "Working Copy" into Pythonista using url-schemes: |

I agree with Richard. Working Copy is worth the money for operating with GitHub. To be clear, access the file in Pythonista with EXTERNAL FILES> Open > Open file folder > Locations > On My iPad> Pythonista 3 if you REALLY want to work in your local ‘This IPad’ folder, which is not accessible to Working Copy, you would need a synchronising program to keep the ‘On My IPad’ location synced with ‘This IPad’. |

It should also be possible to integrate "Working Copy" into Pythonista using url-schemes:
https://workingcopyapp.com/url-schemes.html#x-callback-url (I have not tried that yet.)
