The burger Ionic on content side of spilt pane

Hi there

The solution you have put together is exactly what I have been looking for, but it seems that when the solution is run on an iPhone the menu hides but there is no burger icon to accces it.

Can you please help ??

I just put a button in the navbar of the content page:

      <ion-icon name="list"></ion-icon>

I think you meant

<button ion-button icon-only menuToggle>
  <ion-icon name="menu"></ion-icon>
</button>

How do i hide the menu initially so it is not taking up real state on every page?
