Proposal: Transition to an ES6 Module for Enhanced Project Maintainability and Compatibility

Suggest transitioning the current codebase to an ES6 module. This change would allow us to leverage the modern JavaScript features, improve maintainability, and make the project more compatible with the growing ecosystem of ES6-based projects and tools.
