Prep PAM SI Teams for Open Science

Here's a place to keep track of the progress being made to get each PAM SI team set up in GitHub and using open science practices

PAM-Trends

Initial Steps include (to be addressed in subissues, below):

• Identify team leads and members. Is everyone in the OST org?
• Create a team repo to act as a starting point for the team to add project information, add this repo to the OST Team
• Add a discussion board and project to this repo, model how to use this in one on one meetings
• Set up a meeting with team to introduce GitHub and open science practices
• With help from team leads, identify what repositories should be transferred to OST team (transfer directions here). If repos have project boards, those do not transfer. Make sure all project board items are saved as issues with a status (i.e. in progress, to-do, done). All issues and discussions will transfer
• Check the roles for each repo transferred. Make sure at least the team leads have the admin role, if not set already

Should there be a separate section for PAMverse? I do not see it in the National PAM Network page, but we do have a github 'team'.

• Should we add a section to the PAM-SI on the National PAM Page?
• Should we create a landing page for the Pamverse team?
• If so, who is on the team, and can we get them added to the nmfs-ost and the PAMverse team?

If needed, I can add some stuff when I get back (unless you want to take it from here). Either way...

Hi Shannon,

You're right, it seems like PAM-Verse doesn't have a page on the national page. There are two pages for PAM-Cloud: PAM-Cloud and PAM-Cloud-PACM. Should these be combined under PAM-Cloud as an additional drop down similar to PAM Soundscapes and PAM Stocks? This way there are still 8 PAM teams and 8 PAM SI sections on the national page. I was confused and thought PAM-Cloud PACM was changed to PAM-verse, but PAM-verse replaced PAM-Software.

I'm not actually sure about the organization and reorganization of those teams-- I"m not really working with them. I'd run it by Becca and see what she says.

Also, I realized I did make a pamverse landing page-- but it is still the template (so no info yet).
