Switching to nix in termux directly without installing a new apk

I'd like to know if this is available to nix-on-droid's bootstrap? What are the extra steps? I don't want to install an extra apk because I have installed and used Termux for a while.

It won't work at all, there's proot and APKs are different. You can install nix in termux (search for nix-in-termux) and keep whatever PM you used there, but it'll have nothing to do with neither this project nor the guide you've linked to.
