Description
Provided that a user has the necessary rights, he or she will be able to subscribe to individual data channels that can be initiated by companies in order to exchange information.
These channels are always initiated by the data producer and can be subscribed to, by data consumer who needs to have the necessary credentials (activated by the producer) and the necessary rights on the consumer’s side.
A data channel is a stream of objects that are sufficiently structured to be securely transmitted over an encrypted communication, e.g. https. The structural semantics must include the following:
- reference to a clause in a NIMBLE B2B contract
- reference to a time period in which the data channel will be available
- reference to a authorised user, associated with an authorised firm,
- reference to the authoris_ing_ user, associated with the authoris_ing_ company
- reference to at least one sensor, or a group of sensors that act as the source of the information
- reference to a local scope from which the information will come (e.g. a named, identifiable machine)
