Creating tables with no header error

When creating a new table from an Excel sheet that has no headers (i.e. "Date" or "Price"), an error occurs along the lines of:
Error creating table: 'float' object has no attribute 'replace'
Error uploading data: 'float' object has no attribute 'lower'

I know why this is happening, its this function :

with connection.cursor() as cursor:
