Show/Hide Recommendations

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, the interface shows a recommendations section that cannot be disabled. For some users it's not necessary all that occupied space. Also it shows any file. There is no built-in way to hide or turn off this section.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add a setting option that allows users to enable or disable the recommendations section.

Proposed behavior:

• A toggle in User Settings to show/hide the recommendations section in the interface
• When disabled, the recommendations section should be completely hidden from the UI, not just empty

I already forked and added the feature to use myself, I'm just following protocol now.

This might also save a roundtrip to the server when loading the app, reducing initial load time, right? That would be an additional benefit for user who do not need recommendations.

That's correct, the call to the recommendations would not take place.
