Improve TTS voice clarity and intelligibility for typing practice in tts

Current Behavior

The spoken words are often unclear or difficult to distinguish, especially at normal playback speed. Some words blend together, making listening-based typing practice frustrating and less accurate.

Expected Behavior

The TTS voice should be clearer and easier to understand consistently during typing practice. Ideally, users should be able to accurately hear and identify spoken words without needing to repeatedly replay them.

Possible improvements:

• Add clearer or more natural voice options
• Allow users to choose between multiple TTS providers/voices
• Improve pronunciation clarity
• Add controls for speech speed and voice style
• Prefer higher-quality system/browser TTS voices when available

The problem in the english language is that you often need context to understand current word. If your quote starts with "doo" you don't know if you are supposed to type The or Do, but if the tts would read ahead several words depending on the level of the typist, it's way clearer what you type and there are no awkward pauses between words.
So i suggest first all the punctuation and capitals to be ignored from quotes, all challenging words removed, the ones that most non english would need a good minute to write correctly, then the speed of tts would be dinamic, depending on 2 values, your average of last 10 tests, and also how close you are to the next word. So an experienced typist 150+ wpm would have 3-4 words or more read ahead of the current word, while a novice will get the next word with 6-7 characters remaining before that word. You'd also need a "please repeat key" once you get stuck and you don't remember the words ^^

Thanks for the detailed feedback — these are actually really solid points...

Reading a few words ahead instead of only the current word would definitely make the experience feel much more natural and reduce awkward pauses/confusion with similar word beginnings. The adaptive TTS speed idea based on recent performance also sounds interesting, especially for balancing beginners vs experienced typists.

The repeat key suggestion is also something that would probably help a lot once users lose track of the sentence.
