How to end membership as Library Officer

Section 5.1.2 "Library Officers" defines in par. 2 how Library Officers can be assigned. In 2c there is also considered how a Library Officer can end its membership. Maybe this shall be better described in a particular item.

Can you be more specific as to what it is you like to have here?

There is a clear rule how to associate a Library Officer. A rule on how to dissociate is just a part of 5.1.2 2c). So I'm missing something like:

5.1.2 Library Officers
...
3. Library Officers can be dissociated in one of the following ways:
a) When Library Officer resign on his/her own
b) When Library Officer is inactive to the extent that it damages the further development of the library and/or do not work in the interest of this project.
c) When Library Officer is inactive for time period of xx months.
Decisions on Library Officers dissociation according to b) and c) shall be approved by the Project Members with a qualified majority.

In other words rules how to enter and how to leave.

Leading to the obvious question "Leave what?"

When reading this part it is not clear whether the Library Officer just stop being Library Officer or also stop being a member.

It should be possible to resign as Library Officer for a library, without leaving the project - and we don't have an activity requirement for normal members; so even in that case the Library Officer can remain as member.

However, if the Library Officer doesn't work in the interest of this project I don't see that they necessarily should remain as member.

One possibility would thus be something like:
5.1.2 Library Officers
3. Library Officers can be dissociated from their Library in one of the following ways:
a) When Library Officer resign from the Library on his/her own.
b) When Library Officer is no longer member of this project, see 5.1.1.
c) When Library Officer is inactive for xx months or otherwise not doing the work according to a decision by the Project Members with a qualified majority.

5.1.1 Project Members
Leaving the project:
A member can leave the project on their own decision by ... , or by failing to pay for their membership ...
A member can be removed from the project if they do not work in the interest of this project according to a decision by the Project Members with a qualified majority.

The reason for having "inactive for xx months" is to give some indication of what we consider inactive - but without doing it automatically - so that someone cannot just write one comment every 3 months to be deemed "active".

To have rules for leaving both Library Officer and Project Member is fine. And to have something like
"inactive for xx months" is really just in case of hard exit.
