Overview

Raycast PulseMCP is a production-ready MCP server that provides Raycast integration capabilities. We'd like to publish it to the official MCP registry to make it easily discoverable and installable for Raycast users.

About Raycast PulseMCP

Raycast PulseMCP is a Model Context Protocol server that enables seamless integration between Raycast and various tools/services. It's currently in production use and provides:

  • Raycast command execution through MCP
  • Integration with Raycast's extension ecosystem
  • Productivity workflows for developers and power users

Questions for the Registry Team

Since the registry is currently in preview with API v0.1 freeze, we have a few questions:

  1. Publishing Process: What are the current steps to publish a new MCP server? We see there's a CLI publisher tool - is this the recommended approach?

  2. Requirements: Are there any specific requirements or validations for servers during this preview period?

  3. Raycast-specific Considerations: Since this integrates with Raycast (a desktop application), are there any special considerations we should be aware of?

  4. Timeline: Given the preview status, should we expect any migration steps when the registry moves to GA?

  5. Documentation: Where can we find the most up-to-date publishing guide?

Next Steps

We're ready to proceed with publishing once we understand the current process and requirements. Happy to contribute to the registry's development and provide feedback on the publishing experience as an early adopter.

Thank you!
The Raycast PulseMCP Team
